Something I WON'T EAT

I have an adventerous palette, but seriously?  I can't do this......
are these dried snails?

somebody help me here...

And if they are, well, whatever they are, what do you do with them?  How are they cooked?  Inquiring minds want to know.


  1. Hello, I just happened upon your blog and just want to let you know these are "Chinese Sea Ginseng or Chinese Dried Sea Cucumber". I have attached a link where you can read more about it and how to prepare and cook it. I love eating it stir-fry with lots of vegetables and some seafood/meat or in a thick soup. It is normally served in upscale restaurants and special occasions.
