Indian Feast: A Day at the Culinary Institute of America's San Antonio campus

This was my second "cooking enthusiast" experience at the CIA San Antonio.  This was a hands-on, all-day class experience.  We began in the classroom.  Chef took us through a bit of the history of the food regions and we went over the recipes and divided into teams.  Four teams cooked an incredible amount of food!  I won't show every single photo, but here are a few.  I'm planning to cook a few of these dishes soon and I'll do step-outs when I prepare them at home.

 Chef Hennert
students watch as chef demonstrates how to make paneer (cheese)
...and how to cut apart a chicken (it is easier when you have a wicked-sharp filet knife)

 naan
 "yellow rice"
the dishes were plated and everyone got to sample the dishes
I think chef was pleased!
